Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: A Big FAILURE

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has split admirers. After Eternals, this divisive Sam Raimi MCU film has garnered the lowest CinemaScore rating for an MCU film.

Its B+ CinemaScore demonstrates that the audience is disoriented and perplexed by the film. Furthermore, many people were dissatisfied with how the film treated several of its essential characters.

Some fans have even speculated why Doctor Strange was such a major MCU in the Multiverse of Madness. In the Multiverse of Madness, some fans have even argued why Doctor Strange was a massive MCU flop.

BAD CGI

Marvel has already blessed us with some of the best computer-generated imagery masterpieces. Even the first Doctor Strange was a knockout. However, other instances in this film were so false and evident that they made viewers wince and drew them out of the experience of "getting lost in the world."

Marvel failed to live up to its own name, from the awful lighting work during the initial confrontation between Steven Strange and the alien octopus (Gargantos, if you're really nerdy) to the face of the zombie Doctor Strange during the final battle.

The Scarlet Witch Eats the Illuminati

for Brunch

The Illuminati were Earth-838's most remarkable intellectuals and warriors. They were the universe's defenders. They could face Thanos on their own, which the Avengers could not accomplish. We were all convinced that the Illuminati would humiliate Wanda Maximoff.

However, they did have an Omega Level telepath among their ranks and a guy who could tear holes in the cosmos with a whisper, the greatest minds in the universe, a being of pure energy, and the world's best strategist.

Wanda Maximof annihilated them all in an instant. After all, she was a Nexus Being with chaotic magic. On the other hand, Fans wanted the film to show them putting up a more difficult battle against Wanda. Instead, they did Black Bolt and Mister Fantastic filthy. UNFORGIVABLE!!

Rehashing Old Story Lines from the MCU

Using an artefact that traps you behind an illusion that further traps you within an alternative dimension—that is the narrative of Shang-Chi and The Legend of Ten Rings, in which Shang-Father Chi's Xu Wenwu, who boasts of wearing the Ten Rings, begins to hear his deceased wife's sobs, leading him to burst down the Dark Gate in the fabled region of Ta Lo.

Replace the Ten Rings with the Darkhold, Xu Wenwu with Wanda, TaLo with Earth 838, and add a few other minor changes; Doctor Strange 2 for you. Of course, taking another vision is bad enough, but stealing from your own property has to be illegal, right?

There will be no more Chthon, Mephisto, or

Nightmare...

The most prevalent hypothesis was that the movie's genuine big bad wolf was a demonic creature from another dimension. Many people fulfil that description. The Darkhold was written by Chthon of the Flickering Realms, an Elder God. Mephisto has been mentioned since Wanda Vision.

In the teaser, Doctor Strange teased the Fear Lord Nightmare, a famous Doctor Strange monster that may be heading to the MCU in the Multiverse of Madness.

Wanda Maximoff, corrupted by the Darkhold, was revealed to be the villain. While we appreciate the surprise, we were hoping for a little more.

Sinister Strange failed miserably

Doctor Strange and Earth-838 Christine Palmer arrived in a world that had been desecrated by an invasion after escaping the Scarlet Witch. And there's Sinister Strange, a Doctor Strange version everyone assumed would aid the good guys in their struggle against Wanda Maximoff.

Unfortunately, however, Sinister Strange was not present to assist Strange 616.

He was in town for a bizarre musical magic battle that defies all MCU explanations. His Darkhold was helpful, but fans wanted Sinister Strange to be more than simply a villain. What If? by Marvel got us way too excited. So, this twist was genuinely painful.
